When registrering to attend an ECIC conference you also give ECIC permission to store your personal information digitally that you give through the registration form. This includes, but are not limited to:
- Full name
- E-mail address
- Organization and department you work on
- Telephone numbers
- Requests you do
- Information regarding your payment (though we do not store or have access to your credit card information, this is handled by Stripe) f. e. necessary details to know your status
- Intended conference attendance
- If and in that case which organization will be an institutional member
Since you become a member when paying for your attendance we will keep your information during your time as a member plus five years. The reason for five years extra is that ECIC only meet up once a year and many former members will come back maybe two or three years apart and wish to stay informed about ECIC during that meantime.
Right to delete your data ("to be forgotten")
Since we store personal information in as few places as possible, and with high security, it is easy to fulfull any request to delete all our data about you as a member or as a former member.
Right to know what we know about you
For the same reason we easily can delete personal information we can also retrieve it for your, upon your request.
