The Venue

Essential features

  • Easily assessable from an international airport or appropriate transport arrangements made between the airport and conference venue.
  • If 40 rooms or less, there needs to be easily accessible accomodation nearby
  • A conference room for 50+ participants seated at tables
  • A data projector
  • A room to be used as an office for the Steering Committee
  • Four ‘breakout’ rooms or areas
  • Strong wireless Internet connection (each participant tend to use several devices)
  • A good standard of catering with the ability to adapt to dietary needs

Preferred but not essential:

  • A few twin bedrooms (preferred by some on a tight budget)
  •  Use of church or chapel
